There are some paths that start directly from the Agriturismo. In 20 minutes you can visit the village of Tavernelle passing by the river and the old mill. Or with a few hours of walking you can reach Groppo San Pietro to enjoy the beautiful view.
On hot summer days we recommend hikking to high altitude instead. A 30′ drive away, at the Lagastrello Pass, immediately after the Paduli lake, the path starts (approximately 2h30′ – round trip) up to the Rifuggio Città di Sarzana/Monte Acuto. When weather conditions allow, the luckiest can see the Gulf of La Spezia or even Corsica.
Still from the Pass, following the road towards Parma, from Prato Spilla you can explore the paths along the lakes of the Cento Laghi Park until you reach Monte Sillara.
